Checking prices
We regularly visit Qatar’s electronics stores and note what they’re charging for phones, laptops, TVs and more — the same way you would if you had time to check every store yourself.
Matching products
We only compare listings once we’re confident they’re the same product — matched by barcode where we can, or by model number when a barcode isn’t available. A comparison only goes live once we’ve found it at two or more different stores.
Keeping it accurate
A price is marked as “checked” the last time we confirmed it on the store’s own site. Anything we haven’t checked in the last seven days is flagged as stale and dropped from our deal rankings, so what you see stays current. Out-of-stock and stale listings still show up for reference, but they never set the headline price while a current, in-stock option exists — and when no eligible offer remains, the headline price is explicitly marked as out of stock or stale.
